Artist statement
My practice weaves together site-resonant exploration and the transformative presence of natural spaces.
My work begins with walking—often returning to the same landscapes—where I attune to the textures, rhythms, and elemental forces that shape them. These encounters form a dialogue with place, sparking both intuitive and conceptual responses. I work across mediums, including drawing, painting, monoprints and cyanotype to small scale sculpture and inslatallations in nature. The use of medium is guided by resonance with each site.
My process is rooted in the understanding that a place reveals its true depth over time, my practice draws out hidden complexity from seemingly simple encounters-bringing into view what otherwise remain unnoticed.
As I return and immerse myself more deeply, the space opens, expanding into something infinite—transcending its physical presence, offering a portal to the beyond the immediate.
Drawing inspiration from natural cycles, non-linearity, and the sublime complexity of life’s transience. I invite the viewer into a space of unfolding awareness and wonder—where stillness holds traces of former storms, and time feels both suspended and alive.
